In the case of inclement weather, please click the link below to find out if Boston College will be closed on the day of your course, workshop, or program, and be sure to allow extra time for your commute:
Boston College Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel a program one week in advance of the program start date due to insufficient enrollment.
CEU Credit: Certain Boston College Continuing Education programs are approved for Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credit for social workers in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Vermont. They meet the requirements for Continuing Education Hours established by the State Board of Social Worker Licensure in Maine. If your state is not listed, please check with your local state licensing board to ensure the course meets state requirements prior to registering.
Boston College Continuing Education is required to ensure attendance to award CEUs. Participants must attend the complete program(s) they register for to receive CEUs; we are not able to award partial CEUs. Those who arrive late, leave early, or do not attend the entire program will be unable to receive CEUs.
CLE Credit: Certain Boston College Continuing Education programs are approved for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit in California, Connecticut, Florida, New Jersey, and New York. Reporting requirements vary by state and we recommend that you check with your state's bar association for their guidelines on reporting requirements prior to registering.
University Credit: Boston College Continuing Education programs are for personal and professional development, and do not offer university credit toward Boston College undergraduate or graduate certificate or degree programs.
