Please note that we will only cancel on-campus programs if Boston College closes. Some Continuing Education programs are approved for CEUs for social workers in MA, CT, RI, and VT. They meet the requirements for Continuing Education Hours established by the State Board of Social Worker Licensure in ME. If your state is not listed, please check with your local NASW office to ensure the course meets state requirements prior to registering.
Boston College Continuing Education is required to ensure attendance to award CEUs. Participants must attend the complete program(s) they register for to receive CEUs; we are not able to award partial CEUs. Those who arrive late, leave early, or do not attend the entire program will be unable to receive CEUs.
Some programs are approved for continuing legal education (CLE) credit in CA, CT, FL, NJ, and NY. Reporting requirements vary by state and we recommend that you check with your state's bar association for their guidelines on reporting requirements prior to registering.
Parking for on-campus programs is available at the Commonwealth Avenue Garage and the Beacon Street Garage. Before the event takes place you should receive detailed instructions, including the preferred garage for that event.
Please note: The street address for the Commonwealth Avenue Garage can be misleading. If using a GPS system, enter “St. Ignatius Church, Chestnut Hill”.
- Follow directions to the church, which is at the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Fr. Herlihy Drive.
- Turn onto Fr. Herlihy Drive, then take a right onto Campanella Way and enter the BC campus.
- Follow the road as it curves to the left, then turn right into the Commonwealth Avenue Garage.
Campus map and directions are available here.
