This lecture revisits the life and ministry of Archbishop Romero 40 years after he was shot and killed as he celebrated Mass in a hospital in San Salvador. The presentation enlists the most recent research to examine the prophetic ministry and liberating legacy of the Salvadoran martyr, who was canonized in October 2018.
