In this presentation Fr. Endean explains how Ignatian Spirituality and the Jesuit sense of mission shaped their approach to higher education, how such work was fostered by their openness to change, and how such rigorous contact with the broader intellectual world influenced the Jesuits in turn.
Philip Endean, S.J., holds the Gasson Chair and is visiting professor of theology, Boston College School of Theology and Ministry. He is also on the Faculty of Theology and Religion, Oxford University.
