Boston College historian Michael Glass received the Lewis Mumford Prize and Honorable Mention for the Joe Trotter, Jr. Prize for Best First Book in Urban History.

The Lewis Mumford Prize is awarded to the best book in American city and regional planning history.

The Catherine Bauer Worster Prize, also from SACRPH, for his co-written JAH article "Mortgaging Out: FHA Credit Policy, Segregated Rental Housing and Remaking of Metropolitan America."

The Urban History Association Awards - Recognizing excellence in urban history scholarship. Honorable Mention for the Joe Trotter, Jr. Prize for Best First Book in Urban History, from the Urban History Association (also for Cracked Foundations).

Arnold Hirsch Award for Best Article Published in a Scholarly Journal also from the UHA (also for "Mortgaging Out.").
