The Connell School of Nursing is pleased to announce the first NANDA International approved online course: Introduction to Nursing Diagnosis. This online course is designed for nurses at all levels who wish to improve their understanding of nursing diagnosis and strengthen their ability to use their nursing assessment to drive clinical reasoning.

Developed by NANDA-I leaders, the course content is presented in four distinct modules, including a required final examination, and implements creative learning strategies, including clinical case scenarios and interactive, hands-on learning activities, printable hand-outs, quizzes, and video clips from a NANDA-I expert. Participants who successfully complete all modules and pass a final examination will receive a Course Certificate from NANDA-I and BC as well as 12 Contact Hours.

This course is facilitated through the efforts of the Marjory Gordon Program for Clinical Reasoning and Knowledge Development and its partnership with NANDA-I. Additional translations will soon follow in Spanish, Portuguese, and Japanese.
