May 2022

Members watched The Gig Is Up and met the director Shannon Walsh who joined us via Zoom after the film for a very interesting Q & A.

December 2021

APIE celebrated the 2021 holiday season in December with a delicious menu from BC Dining Services. Delicacies included miso soup, chicken tsukune, salt and pepper calamari, a build-your-own chaat bar & Christmas cookies.  It  was great to see new and familiar faces, and to wish each other warm holiday cheers.  Our next event will be a book club slated for April 2022.  Please sign up and learn more here.

August 2021

The Apie Advisory Board had our first (in-person!) meeting in late August to discuss the upcoming academic year. It was great to get together and discuss directions for the affinity group, build community, and get reacquainted over delicious bento boxes made possible by BC's very own Chef Jose Santiago, and head Chef Frank Bailey.  

We welcomed a new member, Roatha Kong, to the 7 member board, and are always looking for new people to join Apie and the advisory board.
