MISSION

The Mission of ABLED@BC is to explicitly acknowledge the presence and affirm the dignity of persons with disabilities among faculty, staff, and administrators at the university by raising awareness, clarifying meaning, sharing resources, and identifying opportunities to advance and sustain a more inclusive work environment for individuals with disabilities at Boston College.

VISION

The Vision for ABLED@BC is to imagine a time when all participants are identified and recognized not by their limitations but rather by their strengths and attributes that noticeably contribute to the success and well-being of the university at large. A vision for the future will include a work environment that productively engages the widest possible range of employees without need for special accommodations or altered expectations.
