Faculty and staff at Boston College who drive vehicles to the University are required to register their vehicles and display a valid BC parking permit decal on the windshield. Permits are valid June - May 31 and must be renewed every academic year and picked up at Student Services in Lyons Hall (Room 103).
All vehicles must be moved off the Chestnut Hill campus by 11 p.m. the evening prior to scheduled home football games. All vehicles remaining on the Chestnut Hill campus after midnight will be towed at the owner's expense.
Faculty & Staff Permits
Employee parking permits are limited to current employees on the Boston College payroll system. It is the responsibility of the employee to register and display the permit decal on the windshield for access to the Boston College campus.
- There is a limit of one permit per employee at any one time.
- Permits will not be granted or renewed if unpaid campus parking citations are on record.
- Permits are available for purchase throughout the year and the price is prorated based on start date.
- Employee parking permits are designed to allow flexibility for use on up to three vehicles registered, as long as no more than one vehicle is parked on campus at a time. The movable decal can be peeled and stuck to any clean windshield interior numerous times without being damaged. If the permit decal should fail to adhere or tear during the course of the year, please return the damaged permit to Student Services for replacement at no cost to you.
- Employees who would like to discontinue payment for a parking permit must return the Boston College parking permit to Student Services for closing of his/her parking permit account.
