The residence hall at 110 St. Thomas More Road will be named Stayer Hall in recognition of the generosity of Ralph and Shelly Stayer, and family, during a ceremony on September 7.

Located on the Lower Campus at the Saint Ignatius gate and offering beautiful views of the BC campus and the Boston skyline, Stayer Hall provides housing for 300 Boston College students.

Ralph Stayer, a member of the Boston College Board of Trustees, is the chairman and chief executive officer of Johnsonville Sausage, LLC, of Wisconsin, the nation's leading sausage brand.  His company has been recognized for its award-winning business operation method that blends teamwork and individual accountability. He and his wife are the parents of BC junior Brooke Beth Stayer-Wagner.

The dedication ceremony will be followed by a reception and barbecue.
