Presenter: James Carroll, author, columnist, and Distinguished Scholar-in-Residence, Suffolk University

In presenting his newly published book, Practicing Catholic, Carroll speaks about his experience of the transformation of the Catholic Church that has occurred in his lifetime – “from being the most conservative institution in Western Civilization into being a self-critical, reform-minded community of believers whose commitment to change remains firm.”
