Join us for lunch with Norm Page, Founder of Same Page Capital and BC graduate of 1987!

Discuss Norm's journey as an entrepreneur, then network with Norm & fellow students interested in entrepreneurship.

Norm Page is the Founder of Same Page Capital ("SPC") - a business accelerator specifically designed from the ground up to address the business needs of early stage start-ups.  Same Page leverages its collective institutional knowledge in product marketing, sales, business development, and investor relationships to accelerate portfolio companies' needs to succeed in a highly competitive marketplace. Norm is an entrepreneur, investor, and product-driven sales leader with over 25 years of media marketing expertise across a multitude of business practices, engagement models, and advertiser verticals. He spent a majority of those years creating commercial success specific to start-ups and new technologies in adtech / martech, specifically RTB and programmatic platforms, systems, and environments.  Prior to starting his career, he studied Romance Languages, International Studies, and Philosophy and graduated from Boston College in 1987.

Join us for lunch with Priscilla Tyler! Come to learn more about the various fellowship opportunities at True Ventures!

  • PRIYA HAJI FELLOWSHIP: a 9-month fellowship for recent female graduates. It will run from September 2019 to May 2020 and fellows will be paired with True portfolio companies around the Bay Area.
  • SPARK FELLOWSHIP: a 9-month fellowship for recent Black & LatinX graduates. Similarly to the PHF Fellowship, it will run from September 2019 to May 2020 and fellows will work at True portfolio companies around the Bay Area.
  • TRUE ENTREPRENEUR CORPS (TEC): this is our undergraduate fellowship, which will run from June 2019-August 2019. College students spend the summer in the Bay Area working in early-stage startups in our portfolio.

Priscilla Tyler is an Associate on the investment team at True Ventures, an early stage Venture Capital firm in San Francisco. She invests in most sectors although she is currently focused mostly on crypto and blockchain. Before joining the investment team, she was a member of the first Priya Haji Fellow class in 2015. During her fellowship, she worked for Ginger.io, a True portfolio company on a mission to improve the mental healthcare industry. She graduated with degrees in Economics and French from Amherst College, where she was also a member of the varsity women’s lacrosse team.

Join us for lunch with Tony MacDonald, President of Spectrum Labs!

Discuss Tony's journey as an entrepreneur, then network with Tony & fellow students interested in entrepreneurship.

Tony MacDonald has been the President of Spectrum Laboratories since 2004. Spectrum Labs is a global leader in membrane separation technologies for the pharmaceutical, bioprocess, diagnostic and research industries. Prior to his current role, Tony was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for SolmeteX, where he refocused the company from an R&D company into a commercial success. Previously, he worked at Pall Corporation as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Life Science TFF products division until 2000. He brings many years of experience in the sale and marketing of filtration and separations products. Tony is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
