What's your performance style? BC Bands offers several opportunities for students to continue performing in college! Membership in an ensemble also includes leadership opportunities, mentorship programs, and service activities. Do you have questions about joining an ensemble? Marching Band
The “Screaming Eagles” have traveled the globe to represent BC at football games, parades, and international celebrations. Membership is open to all students.
Wind Ensemble
This highly skilled ensemble performs literature for winds and percussion. Members receive a small scholarship and free private lessons. Auditions are in the fall.
BC bOp!
BC bOp! performs great jazz in a big band setting on campus, throughout New England, and nationally. Membership is by audition.
SymBa
The Symphonic Band (SymBa), the largest concert ensemble at BC, performs a variety of literature. Membership is open to the entire BC community.
Pep Band
Open to all wind and percussion musicians, this band travels to fun and exciting athletic events, including the Beanpot and ACC Tournaments.
Dance Team
The Golden Eagles Dance Team is the official Dance Team of the Boston College “Screaming Eagles” Marching Band.
