Global and local issues that connect business, society and the  environment will be the topic of “Through the Lens of Water,” the second  annual Leadership for Change Sustainability Symposium on Feb. 11, from 9  a.m.-5 p.m. in the Murray Room of the Yawkey Athletic Center.
    
    The  symposium will feature a morning panel discussion, “The Global Lens:  Water and Public Policy with a Global Perspective,” with Elisa M.  Speranza, president of the CH2M HILL Operations & Maintenance  Business Group; National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration  Director of Policy Sally Yozell;  and David Brooks, senior advisor for  Fresh Water for Friends of the Earth, Canada. 
    
    Another  discussion,  “The Local Lens: In the Mystic River Watershed,” will take  place in the afternoon with Mystic River Watershed Association Water  Quality Monitoring Director Patrick Herron and Andrew DeSantis,  assistant director of public works for the City of Chelsea, among the  panelists.
