There are many funding opportunities available at Boston College and beyond to help you take your career preparation to the next level. Whether you are looking to do an unpaid internship over the summer, study abroad, conduct research, or explore independent study, there are potential resources for you. Finding these opportunities can often be daunting, so we have compiled a list fellowships, scholarships, and grants for you as a starting point.
Opportunities at Boston College
Advanced Study Grants – to pursue independent summer study
Undergraduate Research Fellowships – to be a faculty research assistant
McGillycuddy-Logue Grants – need based award for study abroad
Mc Nair Scholarships – research leading to graduate study for underrepresented or first generation college students
Amanda V. Houston Travelling Fellowship - for research in Africa or the African Diaspora
Mizna Fellowship – for travel and research in the Islamic World
Omar A. Aggad Travel and Research Fellowship - for study in the Arab world
The Eagle Intern Fellowship Program offers summer internship support through the Career Center.
The Shea Center for Entreprenuership offers stipends for students interning at start-ups.
The Winston Center for Leadership and Ethics offers internship and travel grants to current undergraduates.
The Clough Center offers support and travel grants for internships in civic or public service organizations.
