Holidays
OISS is closed on official university holidays, but remains open during most student breaks.
Advising Walk-in Hours Policy
During advising walk-in hours, students and scholars can speak with an advisor about any questions they have without making an appointment, and it will be first come, first served. If it is determined that your questions will take more than a few minutes to answer, we will set up an appointment for you with an advisor for another day. If you know your situation is complicated, please call the office and individual appointments can be made during office hours; we cannot arrange appointments by email.
During walk-in hours you can:
- Pick up and drop off documents
- Drop off your I-20 or DS-2019 to obtain travel signatures. (Documents will be ready the next day. Please plan ahead, as we cannot guarantee same-day travel signatures.)
