Grants

The Boston College Institute on Aging is pleased to offer several funding opportunities for projects at the University that make contributions to the field of aging. Grant opportunities are available to Boston College faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate students. ARIG program

Aging Research Incentive Grants (ARIG) »

The ARIG program is designed to support research carried out by full time faculty members. Proposals will be awarded on a competitive basis, and preference will be given to junior faculty who envision the ARIG as instrumental for extramural funding opportunties.

Dissertation Support Grant program

Dissertation Grants »

The Dissertation Support Grant program is open to any doctoral student enrolled full time at Boston College whose dissertation research studies aspects of older adults and/or their families. Students are required to have passed comprehensive exam and must have already received approval of dissertation proposal.

Student Travel Award

Student Travel Award »

The IOA will provide travel support for students to attend any aging related research conference during the academic year. The program is open to any full-time undergraduate or full-time graduate/doctoral student at Boston College with an interest in aging related research.
