Boston College's 144th Commencement

Congratulations 2020 Graduates!

On behalf of Boston College, we are delighted to wish you the warmest congratulations on your graduation today. You did it! The resilience, determination and adaptability you have shown throughout these unprecedented times are inspiring. The hard work you put in over your four years at Boston College paid off, and we all applaud and celebrate you. We know you will share your talents, gifts, kindness, and compassion near and far as you set the world aflame.

To mark this special day, John Walsh '17, from the Office of University Communications, has created a video especially for you, the Class of 2020. The friendships and memories you have created at Boston College will last a lifetime. Enjoy the video and thank you for the many ways in which you contributed to the spirit of Boston College.

We look forward to celebrating with you in October!

Boston College diplomas will be mailed to the homes of spring 2020 graduates on June 1st. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for their arrival.

Chorale Performance
An enduring tradition at Boston College is the University Chorale's performance of its theme song, "Tollite Hostias” by Camille Saint-Saëns, as a parting gift to the senior class at Commencement. Though the pandemic has precluded on-campus ceremonies this year, the spirit of that musical tradition continued.
