Journey with Ignatius graphic

A virtual pilgrimage that begins this month will follow the life of Jesuit founder St. Ignatius of Loyola from his early days as a page in Arevalo to his final days as Superior General of the Society of Jesus in Rome. The journey, presented by the Institute for Advanced Jesuit Studies at Boston College in collaboration with the University's C21 Center and Roche Center for Catholic Education, begins October 11 and will end on January 1, 2021. The virtual journey will be available via an app for iOS devices.

A more structured retreat involving the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius is available through the institute's 12 Weeks in Manresa program, which can be experienced along with the Journey with Ignatius pilgrimage. The app also allows users to join a random small group to undertake the journey in the company of others.
