Working Groups

In the pilot phase of the pilot Program on Global Ethics and Social Trust, two working groups will investigate the role of global ethics and social trust in their specific discourses. Each working group consists of five faculty members from BC and three or four faculty members from predominantly Catholic research universities with which Boston College has established a significant partnership.

From different disciplines and universities, the faculty will develop ways to improve how academics address these existing threats. Each of the two working groups will occasionally offer press releases and other report-outs on their findings and proposals. Our hope is that they will capture the eyes and ears of faculty and administrators and those gathering in the public square as we seek to offer real strategies for the most urgent challenges facing our world today.
The two working groups will meet three times per semester during the 2023-24 and 2024-25 academic years. Please see the respective Working Group pages for the meeting schedules.
