Student Grants

The Center awarded seven travel grants to students who traveled to Cuba, Costa Rica, the United Arab Emirates, Kenya, California, and Connecticut for work related to leadership and ethics in healthcare, art, inclusivity and belonging, protecting endangered species, nutrition, and education. Four internship grants were awarded to students who had unpaid summer internships at: the United Nations, working on political development in Middle East conflict zones; a NY District Attorney's office focused on the intricacies of the law relating to domestic violence; a nonprofit organization in India intent on empowering women through microfinancing; and a social entrepreneurship organization in Ohio whose mission is to make communities stronger.
