Stride is specifically designed to help sophomores feel established at BC. The program combines an academic, social, and spiritual approach to help students integrate different aspects of their lives on campus.

The Stride Experience

  • Stride runs from August to December and kicks off with a program-wide event prior to the first day of classes.
  • Participants attend three evening meetings throughout the fall semester, including a variety of student-led panels, and meet weekly with seven other sophomores and two leaders for co-ed small group discussions.
  • Participants also attend Halftime, a weekend overnight retreat, which focuses on leadership, vocation, and purpose.
  • There is a $125 fee to participate. Full or partial financial assistance is available to those who demonstrate a financial need and/or are part of programs like Montserrat.
