Mission and History
The Alumni Arts Circle seeks to foster the interaction of BC alumni, parents, and friends with the broad cultural offerings of the Arts.
The Council strives to produce two events annually to highlight the work produced by alumni, parents, and friends of Boston College.
Since its formation in 2018, the Alumni Arts Circle has hosted several successful events including:
- An evening reception at the Foley Gallery in New York, NY, owned by Michael Foley ’86, showcasing fine line and obsessive precision in drawing, cut paper, painting, and photography.
- An Afternoon of Theater featuring the Off-Broadway show “Superhero,” starring Bryce Pinkham ’05, followed by a talk-back and reception with Bryce and the show creator Tom Kitt.
- A luxury night at Bonhams New York, one of the world’s oldest and largest auctioneers of fine art and antiques, featuring an exclusive fine watches handling session set to the preview of Bonhams’ upcoming watches auction.
- A Pre-Tony Awards Reception at the iconic and storied The Players in New York City featuring a special performance by Anthony Nunziata '06.
- An exclusive viewing at Palm Beach’s Frascione Gallery, owned by Daisy Diaz '01, of their newest exhibit, Timelessness in America, which seamlessly presents modern and contemporary artists alongside a private collection of 14th to 17th century Old Master paintings.
