

It saves money too... and a lot of it. Oftentimes, people say, public health? we'd have to spend money on that. They are not wrong in that this is a proposal to spend money and they are again correct in that it would change what we're doing now. But here's the kick: When you spend money, it goes somewhere. And when you spend money on preventative measures inside public health, it goes on to prevent things like heart attacks, cancer, and stunted development. So things that we're gonna spend a lot of money on later, we can solve with a little money now. They say that (insert statistic here). Wow boom, mic drop. With those types of stats floating around, it is well worth looking into how investing in public health can help us save money.
