Alpha Sigma Nu, the honor society of Jesuit institutions of higher education, has selected Boston College for a Chapter of the Year Award in the category of Best Loyalty Programming.
The ASN awards recognize student chapters whose programming for the academic year has been truly outstanding in embodying the tenets of scholarship, loyalty, and service.
BC’s chapter won the award for its series of programs by BC Jesuits, including University President Rev. William P. Leahy, S.J., who spoke to chapter members about life as a Jesuit and how to live out Jesuit values. The popular “Dinner with Fr. Leahy” program invites senior ASN student members to talk about their BC experience and learn how to continue living out Jesuit values post-graduation.
