Founded in 2018, the Boston College Venture Capital & Private Equity Association (VCPE) is the university’s premier organization for students interested in the alternative investment industry. Guided by its three pillars of Educate, Connect, and Recruit, VCPE strives to make the fields of venture capital and private equity approachable and accessible to all students

At its core, VCPE is dedicated to education. Through workshops, speaker events, panels, and case competitions, the organization provides members with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to pursue careers in the industry. VCPE works to remove barriers that often prevent students from entering this field by offering clear and practical information about how to get started and succeed.

VCPE maintains an inclusive and welcoming community where all students are encouraged to participate. General meetings are open to everyone, and joining the mailing list grants general membership and access to The Buzz, a weekly newsletter featuring upcoming events, industry insights, and internship and job opportunities.
