Devanshi Bhatt (MBA ’27)

This series highlights BC MBA students’ upcoming summer internships, featuring their firsthand accounts of securing internships across various industries and roles.

This summer, Devanshi Bhatt (MBA ’27) will intern at the Mindful Mutt in Allston, a full-service dog daycare, as a Digital Marketing Intern.

How did you secure your internship?

I became aware of the role through GradLeaders [the exclusive job board for MBA students]. My career advisor also played a crucial role in securing the internship. She offered valuable guidance in developing an impactful resume and provided extensive coaching to prepare me for the interview portion of the application process.

How did your first year at BC prepare you for this internship?

My first year at BC has taught me how to turn abstract business concepts into implementational strategies.

I have gained expertise in building strong brand identities, crafting compelling value propositions, and analyzing digital marketing data to assess the success of initiatives.

Additionally, I have had the opportunity to take courses that taught the financial mechanics of business operations. The comprehensive coursework has enabled me to view business management holistically.

What excites you most about your internship?

I am excited to devise a brand management framework that integrates a sustainable marketing strategy.

I plan to take ownership of our digital outreach and utilize data analytics to monitor customer engagement, allowing us to optimize our campaigns.

Additionally, I am eager to immerse myself in the daily realities of running a small business. Specifically, I want to observe how employee and client management collaborate to ensure customer satisfaction in a service-based industry.
