Aaryan Kaphley (MBA ’26)
This series highlights BC MBA students’ summer internships, featuring their firsthand accounts of navigating internshipsacross various industries and roles.
This past Summer, Aaryan Kaphley (MBA ’26) interned at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals in Sleepy Hollow, NY as an alliance finance MBA intern.
How did you secure your internship?
I found the internship on GradLeaders [the exclusive job board for MBA students] and applied. After that I had two interviews, which went well, and I secured the internship.
How did the first year of your MBA prepare you for your internship?
The first year of the MBA program helped me a lot. The Accounting and Finance classes in particular were very useful because my internship was finance focused. My career advisor also provided a lot of helpful guidance and support throughout the application and interview process.
What did you gain from your internship?
This was a new industry and new role for me. I learned a lot about the pharmaceutical industry and about financial planning and analysis through the course of the internship. I also got to meet and hear from a lot of the senior leaders at the firm, including the President and the CFO. Overall, it was an amazing learning experience.
