But CEOs with outside board seats sometimes perform better, according to Marta Geletkanycz’s study in the current issue of the Academy of Management Journal.   • James Gips’s EagleEyes software, which allows people with severe disabilities to control a computer mouse with their head movements, is featured in the pilot episode of Turning Point, a series of one-hour documentary films produced by BYUtv in Utah. More »
  • John Gallaugher’s electronic textbook, Information Systems: A Manager’s Guide to Harnessing Technology (Flat World Knowledge, 2010), is being used by more than 130 professors at schools including Carnegie Mellon University and New York University.
