The MACONDO Research Team aims to address health and mental health disparities among families in order to ensure that everyone, regardless of where they are from, can have a healthy development. The Team specifically focuses on immigrant and migrant families who have encountered several adversities prior to migrating to another country/city and who continue facing difficult experiences after migrating. Through empirical research, the Team aims to ameliorate barriers to access care and to promote the use of evidence-based interventions that can promote wellbeing in the United States and abroad.
