Become a Fellow for Leadership and Service

Boston College Companions: Fellows for Leadership Service is a yearlong immersive program that combines academic study at Boston College with elements of Ignatian spirituality. Designed for accomplished professionals with 15 or more years of experience, the program invites Fellows to reflect together, explore new directions, and consider life’s next chapter amid BC’s distinctive culture of inquiry, excellence, and service to the greater good.

The Boston College Experience

Fellows enjoy full access to BC’s beautiful campus, facilities, and resources, and are encouraged to participate in campus events, including campus liturgies, art exhibits, the Lowell Lecture Series, BC Arts Festival, and much more. And you’re just a 20-minute ride on “the T,” Boston’s public transit system, to the city of Boston and all of its amenities and cultural institutions.

The Jesuit educational philosophy is focused on academic, social, and spiritual formation, and how these various aspects of one’s life integrate together. The whole environment at Boston College is organized to promote that kind of development for students. You sense it and you experience it as a Fellow.

I’m truly inspired by, not only my cohort mates and the professors, but the students. I feel hope for the future sitting in classrooms with these students.
