MESSAGE FROM THE VICE PRESIDENT FOR STUDENT AFFAIRS

Welcome to all of our students, especially those of you who are new to the Boston College community. Boston College is a premier academic institution that offers rich opportunities to learn from a variety of classes, organizations, resources, and people. I encourage you to take advantage of this time in your life to explore, learn, and meet as many people as possible. You are surrounded by students from across the state, the nation, and the globe. Each student you meet in the classroom, athletic field, chapel, or residence hall is an opportunity to broaden your perspective on the world.

Boston College has developed this calendar and list of events to facilitate your transition so that you can be successful here. Read through it carefully and do not hesitate to ask questions. Most importantly, be sure to attend the events and take advantage of the resources. Please keep in mind that students learn more in the classroom and adjust more quickly to the university if they become involved in the campus.

Again, welcome to Boston College. May your days ahead be filled with many blessings.
