How:

Before arriving on campus, please read through the First Year FAQ and the Fire Safety & Security Policies to ensure that you are well informed and that you do not bring prohibited items into the residence halls.

Vehicle hang tags will be mailed during early August to the homes of all first year students living in the United States and not attending FYE Session 7. The tag must be displayed from your vehicle's rear-view mirror upon approaching campus. The hang tag will designate each student's drop-off location/entrance and a.m./p.m. designation.

If you are an international student and will be arriving by car, you will be provided a hang tag upon your approach to campus.

Parking is not allowed near the Upper Campus and Newton Campus residence halls during opening. Restrictions will be strictly enforced. Members of the Welcome Wagon will begin to unload the vehicle. While family and friends should help, the driver must remain inside at all times. Vehicles left unattended will be ticketed and towed.

Once the vehicle is empty of belongings, it must be moved to one of the designated parking locations. Boston College Police and Welcome Wagon staff will be stationed throughout the area to provide direction, help moving belongings, and policy enforcement.
