Installing BC UIS to access BC's course registration
system

On this page, learn how to install BC UIS on a Windows
or Mac OS X computer.

Installing BC UIS on a Windows computer
To install BC UIS on a Windows computer:
- Click
here to download BC UIS.
- Save the Install_UIS.exe file to your Desktop.
- Double-click the Install_UIS.exe file:

- Click Unzip (see Figure 1).

- Click OK (see Figure 2).

- On your Desktop, double-click the UIS folder:

- Double-click Setup:

Using Vista: If prompted, click Allow.
BC UIS is installed on your computer.
- On your Desktop, delete the Install_UIS.exe file and
the UIS folder.
To open BC UIS:
- Select BC UIS from your Program menu or Desktop:
- To log in to BC UIS (see Figure 4), enter your BC username and
password and press <ENTER>:

Installing BC UIS on Mac OS X
To install BC UIS on Mac OS X:
- Click
here to download BC UIS.
- Save the BC_UIS_Installer.dmg file to your Desktop.
- Double-click the BC_UIS_Installer.dmg file:

- Double-click BC UIS:

- Double-click BC UIS Installer:

- Click Continue (see Figure 5).

- Click your hard drive (Macintosh HD / Power HD)
and then click Continue (see Figure 6).

- Click Install (If you are using Tiger,
see Figure 7. If you are using Leopard, see
Figure 8).
Note: You may need to enter your Adminstrator password.

- Click Close (If you are using Tiger,
see Figure 9. If you are using Leopard, see
Figure 10).

- BC UIS is installed in the Applications folder on your computer.
- On your Desktop, delete the BC_UIS_Installer.dmg file
and eject the BC UIS drive.
To open BC UIS:
- In
your Applications folder, double-click the BC UIS
icon:

- To log in to BC UIS (see Figure 11), enter your BC username and
password and press <ENTER>:
