The basics

On the most basic level, you need a computer with an Ethernet card (one for wireless and one for wired network access). You do not need any specific software to connect to the BC network.

Don't have a computer?

• Check out BC's Laptop Offerings at the  BC Bookstore.
• Or, if you buy it elsewhere, take a look at the recommended specs for buying a new computer.

Already have a computer?

• Make sure it meets the minimum computer requirements.

Just looking for a network card or cable to connect on-campus?

• Take a look at the supported Ethernet devices.
• Note: Apple & Dell laptops purchased from the  BC Bookstore have two Ethernet devices pre-installed: one for using the network connection in your residence hall and one for using the BC wireless network. If you purchase a laptop from BC, you do not need to buy a network card.
