Use Entourage

Reading your email

To read your Entourage email:

  1. Open Entourage.
  2. When Entourage prompts you to log on, enter your Boston College username and password, then click OK.
    Entourage opens your email account, displaying the contents of your Inbox.
  3. Click any message to read it.
    Entourage automatically updates your Inbox when new messages arrive for you.

Create a standard signature for your outgoing emails

You can create standard signatures to insert in your outgoing emails.

To create a standard signature for your outgoing emails:

  1. In the Entourage Mail window, on the Tools menu, select Signatures.
  2. Under Signatures, click New.
  3. In the Name box, enter a name for the signature. Enter your signature in the text area, then click the Close button in the upper left of the display. (refer to Figure 1)

  4. When prompted, click Save.
    The new signature you created is listed under Signatures (refer to Figure 2).

  5. Under Create Signature, click New.
  6. When composing an email, you can click the Signature icon at the top of the email composition window, then select the signature from the list to insert it into your email (refer to Figure 3).
