Faculty and Staff Your status becomes inactive, which occurs on the date established for your termination in the Human Resources Information system. Email and MyFiles@bc accounts for faculty and staff expire thereafter on a schedule established by ITS (Information Technology Services). The schedule is subject to change but presently is run seven times a year. In most cases an employee/faculty member will receive a notice informing them that their email account is about to expire. Some departments have established a business practice of requesting that access and email accounts expire when the employee/faculty member leaves the University.
