2015 Gold Award for Special Catering Event
In July, NACUFS will give the Loyal E. Horton Award to BC Dining for "catering a special event" in the large school category. The team submitted a creative entry and won for the 2014 POPS on The Heights spectacular.
2014 NACUFS Gold Award for Most Innovative Wellness & Nutrition Program
The prestigious GOLD award for the Most Innovative Wellness & Nutrition Program was awarded to BC Dining and the Office of Health Promotion. The award was announced during the NACUFS Conference.
May 2014 Sandwich of the Month - Food Management Magazine
Food Management Magazine honored BC Dining's New England Classic as the "Sandwich of the Month" in May 2014.
2011 Mass. Restaurant Assoc. Foodservice Operator of the Year
Each year the Massachusetts foodservice industry honors its own at the Massachusetts Restaurant Association’s (MRA) Annual Awards Dinner, held in conjunction with the New England Food Show
On Monday, March 21, 2011, the dinner took place at the Renaissance Boston Waterfront Hotel and honored those Massachusetts foodservice professionals who demonstrated a consistent commitment, contribution, and leadership to the foodservice industry.
Boston College Dining Services won for Foodservice Operator of the Year. Honorees are chosen by the MRA Associate Member Committee and the MRA Executive Board.
“It is always a pleasure to honor those individuals who have made the foodservice industry their passion,” said MRA President and CEO Peter Christie. “Not only do these men and women represent the best our industry has to offer, they are truly the soul of our organization. An event like this showcases their many unsung accolades.”

Boston College Dining was ranked number 2 in a nationwide survey of students for quality and selection.
2006 Ivy Awards
The Ivy Award is considered by most in the food service industry to be the most prestigious award in the industry. The Ivy award is given by Restaurants and Institutions Magazine and was started in 1970 to recognize restaurants, hotels, and institutions for excellence in foodservice. A feature about BC Dining and the award was posted in the May 2006 issue of Restaurants & Institutions magazine.
2005 SPIRIT Award
Nation's Restaurant News and the National Association Educational Foundation award saluting restaurant and foodservice operators for innovative programs in workforce development leading to employee satisfaction.
2004 Silver Plate Award
International Food Manufacturer's Association Food Service Operator of the Year 2004. Honored as a food service operator leader who exemplifies extraordinary dedication, innovation and achievement in the hospitality industry.
