Where to Go for Help

As a survivor of sexual assault, you are not alone in what happened to you, or in how you feel. It is important for you to know that the feelings, reactions, and questions you may be experiencing are similar to those of other people who have been victimized through no fault of their own. You, as others have, can learn to regain a sense of power over your life. You may feel very isolated and alone, but there are resources available and people ready and able to help you. Sexual assault is never the fault of the victim. You are not to blame for what another person has done to you.
