Led by Associate Professor Katie McInnis-Dittrich, chair of the Older Adults & Families Concentration, students, faculty and alumni from the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work participated in this year's Alzheimer's Memory Walk on September 27th along the Charles in Cambridge. The GSSW "Memory Walkers" team raised $6,785, which qualified them as an Alzheimer's Walk "Elite Feet Team."

Today as many as 5.3 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's disease. Millions more are affected by the disease as they care for loved ones who battle the devastating symptoms. When you participate in the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk, you are taking action in the fight against this deadly disease.
