Alumni Events

Alumni of the Boston College School of Social Work are welcome to attend any events sponsored by the BCSSW Alumni Association or the Boston College Alumni Association. Each year the BCSSW Alumni Board offers opportunities to engage with other alumni, students and the school through activities like, networking nights, social activities, and Alumni Awards & Diversity Conference, mentoring program and mock interviewing. The BCSSW Alumni Board is always open to alumni suggestions for events and programs.

Alumni Awards Nominations Open: Please help us recognize the significant contributions our MSW and PhD alumni make to the field of social work by nominating an alumna/us for the Distinguished Alumni Award or the Distinguished Recent Graduate Award, both of which will be presented at the event. Nominations are due December 1, 2017, by 5:00 p.m. Nominate now
Note: Current BCSSW Alumni Association Board members and employees are not eligible to be nominated. Both the award winner and the person who nominated him or her should be able to attend the Diversity Conference and Alumni Awards Celebration on January 26, 2018.

Mock Interviewing
March 21-23, 2018
A great opportunity for alumni to connect with current students and support them in their transition to work. Students sign up for time slots to be mock interviewed by alumni and staff volunteers. To sign up to be a mock interviewer, please contact Cindy Snell at cindy.snell@bc.edu.
