Robert Rametti | Principal, Edwards Middle School
Robert Rametti has been the principal of The Edwards Middle School in Charlestown since July 2013. Prior to the principalship, Rob was the Principal Intern at New Mission High School in Hyde Park where he supported the implementation of the Common Core State Standards and the integration of literacy across the curriculum. Rob began his career as an educator at Brighton High School where he served in many roles, including English Teacher, English Department Teacher Leader, Study Group Facilitator, and Summer Program Director. He has taught ninth through twelfth grade in inclusive, honors, and AP settings. He was also a member of the Instructional Leadership Team where he worked on whole school improvement strategies around vocabulary instruction and college and career readiness. Rob is a National Board Certified teacher and holds his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Boston College. He is currently completing advanced graduate course work in educational leadership at Northeastern University.
