Through this role she supervises all humanities teachers, facilitates 7 teams in a diligent Collaborative Inquiry process, and contributes to the K-12 Academic Leadership Team. She is a former Teach Plus Teaching Policy Fellow and has collaborated with the Massachusetts Department of Education to provide input into the new Educator Evaluation Framework training materials for educators. Finally, she received PHA's 2011 Educator Excellence Award for outstanding teaching, as well as their 2012 Faculty Spotlight Award, having been selected by the faculty cabinet as an educator who demonstrates responsible citizenship and lifelong love of learning. She believes in the power of having a growth mindset and looks forward to the opportunity to learn with and from other leaders from across the state.
