Elise Mostello | Academic Dean, Conservatory Lab Charter School
Elise Mostello began her career in education as a classroom teacher at Summit Montessori School in Framingham, MA. During this time, she also earned her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston College, focusing on Math and Technology. After three years at Summit, Elise’s growing interest in urban education inspired her to become a founding 5th grade math and science teacher at the Brooke Charter School in East Boston. That year, the 5th grade was ranked number one in the state for MCAS student growth percentile. This success led her to become the Math Coach at Conservatory Lab Charter School during their rapid expansion of student enrollment. Elise was promoted after six months at Conservatory Lab to Academic Dean and currently oversees classroom instruction, data analysis, and student achievement in grades 3-8. She is excited to have this opportunity to collaborate with other leaders to create positive change in urban education.
