The Carroll School of Management offers internationally renowned doctoral programs in accounting, finance, and organization studies.

The new PhD Program in Accounting provides grounding in fundamental accounting principles, as well as develops competencies in quantitative methods, economics and finance. You will collaborate with faculty and classmates and learn to be entrepreneurial in your search for novel research ideas and compelling research settings.


The PhD Program in Finance at Boston College focuses on theory, applied research and pedagogy in quantitative methods, economics and finance. You emerge from the Program with the knowledge and analytic skills to conduct research and teach at the highest level.


The PhD Program in Organization Studies emphasizes a strong foundation in organizational theory, research methods and statistics. Graduates emerge as creative, independent scholars prepared to pursue your own research agenda.
