Changes to the 2016-17 RSI Program Format
As you know, the Research and Scholarship Integrity (RSI) Program consists of two components, the General Session and the Seminar Series sessions.
In response to feedback from students and faculty, the RSI Program has made some important changes to our format. As outlined in the chart below, these changes apply to the General Session only; no changes were made to the Seminar Series.
|OLD General Session Format||NEW General Session Format|
|» Offered once in fall and once in spring
||» Part 1 offered 3 times in the fall;
Part 2 offered 3 times in the spring
|» Required to attend one all-day session
||» Required to attend two 3-hour
sessions (Part 1 & Part 2)
|» Offered on Saturday only
||» Offered weeknights and Saturday
We believe this change—requiring attendance at two shorter sessions and offering three options for each—provides more flexibility and is better suited for accommodating busy schedules.
PLEASE NOTE: Ph.D. students and postdoctoral fellows are still required to attend four Seminar Series sessions in addition to Part 1 and Part 2 of the General Session.
