Sloan Research Network on Aging & Work Fall Institute (part of the Boston College Center on Aging & Work) was held on September 26-27 to great acclaim. Participants, pictured above, gathered from around the world to explore ideas for research that furthers our understanding of-- Equity, Justice and Inclusion among Older Workers in the Changing Context of Aging & Work. The institute was held in collaboration with Professor Lisa Berkman, Network member and Director of the Harvard Center for Population and Development Studies at the T. H. Chan School of Public Health. Presenters from at least eight disciplinary perspectives and nine countries collaborated on a set of proposed pilot projects, discussed revisions, developed insights, and formed collaborations. Discussion centered around how to get beyond age discrimination and focus more on fairness and inclusion among employees of all ages.
