Matz presents preliminary findings from the 2019 Massachusetts Volunteer Sector Survey

Recently, Dr. Christina (Tina) Matz, co-director of the Center on Aging & Work presented preliminary findings from the 2019 Massachusetts Volunteer Sector Survey on May 7th to more than 300 people at the Massachusetts Conference on Volunteerism hosted by the Massachusetts Service Alliance (MSA). She partnered with MSA to conduct this survey which collected data from 338 organizations from across the state. The aim of the study was to: 1) better understand the needs of the Massachusetts volunteer sector and 2) measure the value that volunteers bring to organizations across the Commonwealth. The full report to come soon-- with data on the benefits of older adult volunteers! Read more about the preliminary results here: http://www.massnonprofit.org/news.php?artid=5717&catid=13
