We are pleased to feature a set of workforce development practices offered by a very small employer: Settepani Ristorante & Bakery, with 50 employees, has demonstrated a commitment to being supportive of their employees' needs throughout the life-course, through a combination of training, mentoring and workplace flexibility. As a result, 60% of their employees have been with the company for more than 10 years and half of them are older adults. Settepani won a 2013 NYC Age-Smart Employer Award from the New York Academy of Medicine.
