Mary Catherine Bateson to speak at JFK Library | Wicked Local Newspaper

Mary Catherine Bateson, cultural anthropologist and writer, will speak at the JFK Library at 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Thursday Oct. 24 on "What's Next: Wise Activism for the Future," sponsored by the UMass Boston Gerontology Institute and Eastern Mass OWL.

Bateson, the daughter of anthropologist Margaret Mead and Gregory Bateson, lives in New Hampshire and is a visiting scholar at Boston College’s Center on Aging and Work.
