Fact of the Week: 8 September 2014


Among survey respondents who are active in encore careers* today, 44% transitioned into new roles between 45 and 54, and 44% in the next decade, from 55 to 64," according to a 2014 survey by Encore.org.
*Encore career is defined as work (paid or volunteer) begun in mid-life or later that helps address social challenges, such as health care, poverty, or education.
